Graduated from Wenatchee High School in Wenatchee, Washington in 1982

Graduated magna cum laude from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington in 1986, with a double major in music (piano performance) and religion (biblical studies)

Graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey in 1989.

Ordained and installed as associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church, Ellensburg, Washington, on September 24, 1989.

Married to Jeana on July 20, 1985.

Began ministry at Eastmont Presbyterian Church on November 1, 2000 (All Saints Day).

Hobbies: waterskiing, Macintosh computers, snowmobiling, playing piano, attending musical concerts
